 With rising fuel costs and customer preference for diesel cars Japanese automaker Toyota is studying feasibility of manufacturing the diesel variant of its latest sedan Etios.  Mumbai, India: Home-grown automaker Force Motors said that its new sports utility vehicle to be launched in July will be called ‘Force One’. This will be the first passenger vehicle from the Pune based company which later plans to bolster its new range with the launch of an off-road jeep and a premium van by next year. Chinese sales of sport utility vehicles rose by 100% last year. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, there were 1.326 Million SUVs sold in China last year which marks a rise of 101% on the year before. From the 5 Million cars sold in the first quarter of this year in China 395,000 were SUVs, which is a jump of 47% on the previous year.  Car designs of the future - all the best designs at the annual Coventry University Automotive Design degree show. A supercar green-lighted for production by Arash Cars was the star attraction at the Coventry design show. Arash Farboud, founder-owner of Arash Cars; told Autocar that the scale Arash AF-8 on display at the show previews the final design for the production model to be revealed at next year’s Geneva motor show.
