Recently, Synovate a marketing research company has done study on how preferences for hybrid cars and general eco-mindedness differed around the globe. Company polled 13,500 urban people around the world. The most surprising finding was that 60% of people surveyed would buy a hybrid today. Purchasing a hybrid is a responsible green move except given their premium over normal cars; they aren’t always a money-saving buy. A study by CarGurus explained that gas would have to top $7 a gallon to make the majority hybrids the reasonable option. Hybrids command, approximately, a 17-percent score over their standard-powertrain counterparts, which aerial tricks their financial system at the pump. The $7-a-gallon break even point is a standard.
