German car sales jump in June

German carmakers posted a leap in monthly sales for June as demand in home markets continued to pick up and sales surged in emerging economies. A car industry group said; Germany’s car market was set for further growth in the second half of the year following a 10% increase in unit sales in June. German luxury car brand BMW to focus on smaller cities to boost sales
bmw-logoGerman luxury car brand BMW will consolidate its market position by extending presence in tier-II and III Indian cities over the next one-and-a-half years. BMW India President Andreas Schaaf said, the dealership base of the company will be enhanced from existing 24 facilities to 40 in the next one-and-a-half years. Schaaf who commissioned BMW’s Goa facility at Verna said the company intends to drive into smaller towns from its current thrust on the auto markets like Delhi and Mumbai. “Further, we aim to have 60 facilities by 2015.” Schaaf said, the company gets 70% of its total sales from Delhi [...]

Jaguar SUV Set to Hit the Markets in Four Years

BMW coming up with X4 in 2014
bmw According to the Autoweek reports BMW is looking forward to add yet one more compact SUV to its listings. Known as X4, the vehicle is supposed to take over a few prompts from the big-brother X6 in both its design and driving distinctiveness. The report states that premature concept sketches demonstrate the SUV as having the same standing edge and lengthy, curving roof line as the main X plus a very similar angled rear hatch.
