The 2010 Jeep Wrangler Performance

65

Each 2010 Jeep Wrangler is equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine which gives 202 HP and 237 pound feet of torque. The six-speed manual is a regular on all models and is inclusive of hill-start assist. There is an optional four-speed automatic too and most of the Wrangler models are equipped with regular four-wheel drives which is inclusive of high and low gears although the “Unlimited” version can be got with a rear-wheel drive. The Rubicon version has an expert transfer case which can provide extra-low gearing for improved off-road capabilities.

When testing the performance of the 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the automatic it reached 60mph lazily at 9.7 seconds and the EPA-estimated fuel efficiency is 15 mpg in the city, 19mpg on highways and 17mpg when combined together. If one opts for the rear-drive Unlimited, an additional 1mpg is added on highway drives.
