Worst Cars on the Road list by ForbesThe 2011 Worst Cars on the Road list by Forbes was released last week and it isn’t kind to American automakers. Vehicles from General Motors and Chrysler take over the list, whereas Ford is left out. The non-American vehicles that make it to the list are the Mercedes-Benz S550, Smart Fortwo, and Nissan Titan. a number of U.S. vehicles on the list, as well as the Jeep Liberty, Dodge Dakota, and Jeep Wrangler, took knocks for terrible reliability and fuel economy.
Forbes accumulated the list by studying all the information from six studies performed by Consumer Reports. Along with the studies they used CR’s Most Reliable Cars Report, Best and Worst Safety Performance Survey, Highest Cost of Ownership, and Best and Worst Fuel Economy.
