Volkswagen Cross Coupe Concept Unveiled At 2011 Tokyo Motor ShowVolkswagen will completely change our views for future SUV’s with its Cross Coupe Concept. The concept is dynamic and is based on VW new engineering design called as modular transverse matrix. The German carmaker unveiled its new Cross Coupe concept in Tokyo Motor Show. As per Volkswagen design Chief Walter de Silva, the Cross Coupe is planned to build for China as they are experiencing an urge for crossovers in China. The three different modes available are: City mode, Off-Road mode and a Sport mode. Being slightly smaller than the Tiguan SUV, it will be fourth in the SUV range list. The Cross Coupe has two electric motors, one is in the front and the other is in the rear. With the seating capacity of four, it has the familiar sloping roofline with a completely new light and grille. It also has AWD plug-in hybrid system and high-end interiors.
