Mitsubishi to Offer Plug-In Hybrid SUV in 2013

mitsubishi-2013

Mitsubishi will increase its MiEV (Mitsubishi innovative electric vehicle) lineup by adding a plug-in hybrid SUV in 2013. The plug-in hybrid SUV is inspired by the Px-MiEV concept car that made its first seen at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. The company has been working on this Hybrid SUV and has already reached higher development stages.

The Px-MiEV concept is powered by a hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.6 liter engine that delivers 114 hp and a top torque of 125 Nm, which works jointly with two electric motors that provide 80.5 hp and a highest torque of 200 Nm. It has the capability of moveing up to 30 miles on electric power alone.

Mitsubishi states that the vehicle offers a remarkable fuel economy figure of 2 liters per 100 km (117.6 mpg). Not just the statistic itself are courageous statement, it gets bolder when considered that it is the target set for an SUV.

Let’s hope that Mitsubishi decides to maintain the bold lines and manages to grow the technology that can keep up with the abovementioned figures.

  • A car wrap uses similar vinyl material to a car decal, only a car decal material does not require material that can cover the complex curves of an entire car. Car decals typically cover a very small area on the car, similar to a car magnet. Whereas with a wrap, you can cover any part of the vehicle, including bumpers, the hood, and other curved areas. Car wrap material has a grey backed adhesive that has air egress channels that allow for air bubbles to be immediately smoothed out creating a sheer painted look to the car wrap - especially when a gloss finish is chosen.Make use of legitimate advertising expenses while defraying your car expenses. Consider getting a quote for a car wrap today.
