Mitsubishi to Offer Plug-In Hybrid SUV in 2013

mitsubishi-2013

Mitsubishi will increase its MiEV (Mitsubishi innovative electric vehicle) lineup by adding a plug-in hybrid SUV in 2013. The plug-in hybrid SUV is inspired by the Px-MiEV concept car that made its first seen at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. The company has been working on this Hybrid SUV and has already reached higher development stages.

The Px-MiEV concept is powered by a hybrid powertrain comprising a 1.6 liter engine that delivers 114 hp and a top torque of 125 Nm, which works jointly with two electric motors that provide 80.5 hp and a highest torque of 200 Nm. It has the capability of moveing up to 30 miles on electric power alone.

Mitsubishi states that the vehicle offers a remarkable fuel economy figure of 2 liters per 100 km (117.6 mpg). Not just the statistic itself are courageous statement, it gets bolder when considered that it is the target set for an SUV.

Let’s hope that Mitsubishi decides to maintain the bold lines and manages to grow the technology that can keep up with the abovementioned figures.

  • Car wraps are becoming a huge marketing and fashion tool these days. Companies all over the place are starting to put custom wraps and graphic on their business vehicles to make them stand out against the otherwise bland traffic. The wraps look incredibly complex and flashy, and that's the point. The truth is, while designing and printing these graphics is difficult and complex, the actual installation isn't. And the removal of these graphics is even more simple. These truths can end up saving you hundreds of dollars, if you know what you are doing when you get your wrap.

  • I've heard mixed reviews about the Hyundai Tucson though I'm reserving my judgment til I thoroughly test drive one. It looks like a good vehicle to me, to be honest.

  • Many high-end cars come equipped tubeless tires, which are
resistant to pinch flats and can be ridden at lower pressure than tires
that use inner tubes. But like most tires, they are still susceptible to
punctures from sharp objects, such as nails or thorns.

  •  Interested in turning your original artwork and photography into an immortal work of canvas art? The Giclee form of canvas printing can be done at home, provided you have the right kind of equipment for the job. The printer you are using has to be at the right calibration for canvas and also needs to use pigment based ink. Using regular desktop printers simply won't do, as you will not be able to achieve what you want. It is preferred to have a high-end inkjet printer for this kind of printing. It is possible to create a Giclee print on watercolor paper as an added option.
