Jeep Grand Cherokee adds another feather to its cap
Jeep Grand Cherokee is the most awarded vehicle in the SUV section and with the latest ‘SUV of the Year’ award, this impressive automobile is thriving. At the Denver International Auto Show, Grand Cherokee was bestowed with the title and this has happened second time in a row. With this award, the SUV has been able to maintain its status of SUV of the year as was conferred to it by Rocky Mountain Automotive Press Association in 2011 as well.
And Jeep Grand Cherokee deserves the appreciation. With its on road and off road performance, the SUV has passed the RMAP’s tests and has won consumer’s appreciation. To maintain its position in 2012, Jeep Grand Cherokee geared up in terms of fuel economy and enhanced its interiors and the latest model offered something like 50 additional security features. And of course, alongside there is the option of three 4×4 systems and there is the air suspension system and Jeep Selec-Terrain™ system; who could easily ignore such options and rate another vehicle.
In addition to this latest accolade as awarded by the Denver association, Jeep Grand Cherokee has proved its mettle by winning quite a few other prestigious awards and titles. Few notable being the Autobytel 2012 SUV of the Year as won by Jeep Wrangler, U.S. News & World Report’s Best Cars for the Money in the off road SUV category, again won by Jeep Wrangler, North America’s Overland Journal 2011 SUV of the Year is Jeep Wrangler and Cars.com’s Play Car of the Year is once gain Jeep Wrangler. Besides, the vehicle has been recommended in various lists like 2012 Vehix New Car Buying Guide, Convertible under $40,000 and SUV under $30,000. Jeep Brand won the Polk Automotive Loyalty Award.
