Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel Version Revealing with 186-MPH Capability

World Champion Sebastian Vettel will be revealing the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel Edition on Tuesday 13th September at Frankfurt.

The Infiniti isn’t telling us much in detail, what it is telling us is that the FX Sebastian Vettel Version is based on the top-spec FX50S Premium. We will evidently have to wait a little for further details.

The Infiniti FX enters the 2012 model year with big news as it will be the fastest Infiniti ever with a top speed of 186mph. With debut in its concept form, it is the lightest, fastest and most aerodynamic FX ever made.

With 186-mph capability on tap really doesn’t need much in the performance department. Based on the V8 Infiniti FX50S Premium it will get some changes to the engine, suspension and body with some aerodynamic enhancements implemented with input from its partner Red Bull Racing.

We can say it looks like one very mean performance crossover. It also includes a carbon fiber front grille, a rear spoiler, a diffuser and a new twin-exhaust system.

Red Bull is set to expand its motoring beyond the championship winning formula one team. Team boss Christian Horner said, “Red Bull used to be known only as an energy drink company, but now it is recognized as an engineering team. It is a natural evolution for us to get involved in road car engineering.”
