Force One SUV launched in Indian car market at a price of Rs. 10.65 lakhs

Force Motors launched Force One SUV in Indian Auto Market at a price of Rs. 10.65 lakhs. The launches of cars have been the flavor of August 2011, but this is Force Motors’ maiden foray to the passenger car industry which has made Force One SUV launch the biggest one.

Force One SUV is a re-badged version of the Chinese Ford Explorer. Force Motors has already enlisted 18 dealers across north, south and west India to sell the Force One SUV.

Force Motors has made a 600-800 crore financial commitment for the Force One SUV project and the vehicle is being manufactured at Pithampur, MP. In the company’s words “Come, Witness the Complete Creation.”

It features a 2.2 Liter common rail turbo diesel engine, an uprated version of the OM 611 which is a Daimler product. Armed with a 5-speed manual transmission it is likely to pack in a punch and will make use of auto parts bought in from Korea and China. An UK based Lotus Engineering has been involved in fine tuning the Force One SUV.

Being positioned above the Tata Safari, Mahindra Scorpio and competing with the Skoda Yeti, Tata Aria and Ford Endeavour this SUV will give you what you expect from this range.
