2012 Volkswagen Tiguan Gets a Face-LiftedVolkswagen has disclosed the very first images of its face-lifted 2012 Tiguan, weeks in advance of the compact crossover’s public introduction at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. The modified Tiguan now looks a lot more similar to its newer siblings, with a brand new face and revamped tail. The front end features all-new LED headlamps, grille plus front fascia, with LED taillamps in addition to an improved rear bumper. Powertrains are estimated to be carried over with a small number of major changes. Nearly all the Volkswagen dealers have already started taking orders for the new model in Germany, where the company reports the Tiguan is completely sold out. Nevertheless, VW did mention about it plans to keep the base price unchanged in its home market, where the Tiguan starts at approximately $33,000.
