2012 Hyundai Elantra Coupe Coming This Fall - Expectations are highLast year Hyundai has unveiled the new generation Elantra sedan. This model enthusiastically featured an impressive exterior design language and a new 1.8 liter inline-four cylinder that delivers 148 hp and 131 lb-ft of torque. Considering that model, Hyundai is again challenging the other cars in its line by bringing that particular car from the past back to present. The automaker is bringing back that sedan version followed by a coupe version sometime later this year. This version after some modifications will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Hyundai is very optimistic hoping to become a competitor for the Honda Civic Coupe model. Likewise the sedan version the coupe will receive a 1.8 liter engine. However, an R-Spec version will also be available powered by the similar 208 hp turbocharged engine and corroborated for the turbocharged Veloster. Hyundai has announced that they expect the Elantra Coupe to be offered in the equivalent trim levels just like the sedan - GLS and Limited. As far as the prices are concerned the coupe model will be available at starting price of $15,195 which is a bit higher as compared to the sedal model. Those who are planning to have it must follow the process well in advance. Elantra sedan was in great demand right from the beginning and Hyundai has had a lot of difficulties meeting a demand for this version again the company is expecting to get similar reactions from people for the Elantra Coupe.
