Price - is this the main criteria when buying an SUV ?

I would say a big NO - as whosoever I have talked with are suv fanatics who dont care about price or fuel efficiency. Afterall, how do you feel above the world when you are sitting in a low priced machine and compromising on your ambition to own a powerful suv, which would give a decent boost to your adrenaline when you drive it.

But yes, there are some companies like TATA who are coming up with SUV’s which are real value for money. Not sure whether it is a price game - but I would really want something which is more powerful and more elegant than the other SUV’s :)
