SUV Reviews - The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV

Overview

The makers of The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV wanted to combine anything and everything into one to create a concoction of an SUV which also doubles up as a pick-up truck. The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV is a little bit of this and a little bit of that which makes it quite indecisive. Nevertheless the 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV provides all the features that are expected for an SUV of this class. This includes the All-American Style with large and attractive cabin features. The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV is loaded with lots of luxurious features and a commanding V8 Engine.

Though The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV may appear just like the version introduced last year, it has revamped the style and interiors with enhanced features and a better engine. Last year’s model had a small amount of fresh yet regular features; this year it is quite opposite with the power tilt for the Nav screen and last year’s rain-sensing wipers and park-assist indicator lights have been trashed. Nevertheless not all except the automatic wipers will be greatly missed since The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV is equipped park assist system with rearview camera and audible alerts. More on improvisations with The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD: The USB port and the V8 Engine with a 6.2-Liter capacity combined with Active Fuel Management that can close down four cylinders during delicate load conditions (level or downgrade freeway drive) to support fuel mileage to the optimum.

The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV does have its share of downslides too and one of the most prominent is the braking performance which is hardly adequate. With the price one pays for The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD, one expects to get a better deal with the interiors however; they remain plain mediocre and do not live up to expectations. Fuel economy also earns a huge thumbs-down yet if one is looking for a pick-up truck of a luxurious brand - The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV it will be!

What’s New with the 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD?

The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV quite a few upgrades including the USB port for the audio system and Active Fuel Management for the 6.2-Liter V8 Engine. Other than these there is the fresh front side-impact airbags, a different door structure for additional safety, and innovative clock graphics (Same as the Platinum Model of last year). The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV has decided to do without some features of last year’s model like the rain-sensing wipers and the rear indicator lights of the rear park assist system.

The Good: Versatility and complete quietness is what The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV is all about. Towing even 8000 pounds is pretty simple with this highly masculine yet comfortable SUV. The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV has a powerful and even power train, provides a luxurious ride with a multipurpose midgate design quality and rides in hushed silence during highways with traction control being absolutely outstanding and in prime condition during rides in ice and snow.

The Bad: The voracious appetite that The 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV has for fuel is pretty annoying. Turning circle very large with blind-spot being larger: fortunately the saving grace is the backup cam that works to avoids mishaps. Parking is very difficult – given the size of the SUV and the 2010 Cadillac Escalade 2WD SUV offers nothing new to the control layout, almost alike a pickup truck. The materials and workmanship are ordinary and not very notable or striking.
