2010 Honda CR-V Overview.
While there are many SUVs in the market that claim to seat more than six and end up cramming the seating like sardines in a can, the 2010 Honda CR-V SUV has stuck to its spacious seating arrangement for five and kept the rows at two. The exterior of this SUV depends completely on how one sees it and could seem simple, deprecatingly smart or slightly strange. The 2010 Honda CR-V SUV’s curved general shape with an assortment of sheet-metal wrinkles and curves look good from some positions yet discomfited from others.
The inside however does look much better and has an overall appeal yet the erect instrument panel is way too erect and the SUV styling is certainly Butch! Nevertheless there are some nice complementary equipment and brilliant accents which have been used on the inside which add a dash of interest to this SUV.
In spite of having an elevated driving seating arrangement, the 2010 Honda CR-V SUV handles like a sedan in many ways of comfort and economy. The handling is stable yet not quite sporty and this SUV is available with an all-wheel drive too. The 2010 Honda CR-V SUV combines the stability control system to distribute power to the wheels where it is most required. Though other models of the same class have V6 engines, the 2010 Honda CR-V SUV has retained the single powertrain with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder producing 166 HP with five-speed automatic transmission. The engine performance is quite even and advanced and provides sufficient power except in high-speed with a heavy load.
Nevertheless, though the 2010 Honda CR-V SUV is stocked with almost everything and performs quite well, the drawback that one finds is the inability to downshift which results in vanished energy on sharp curves. The fuel economy is definitely appreciable and the 2010 Honda CR-V SUV ranges up to 27 mpg in highways.
